Vestal, NY – February 21, 2015 – Diamond Visionics LLC., announced today via their European reseller Antycip Simulation; that Diamond Visionics has been awarded a new multi-year Enterprise Agreement by BAE Systems for the supply of the GenesisRTX, GenesisIG and GenesisSDK for the Image Generators used across the company’s cutting edge synthetic training devices at its Warton site in Lancashire, UK .
The new sixty month contract represents the singular ability of Diamond Visionics’ GenesisRTX to scale performance and fidelity with the exponential growth in the capabilities of CPUs and GPUs. The GenesisRTX rendering engine visualizes complex 3D scenes anywhere on earth directly from GIS source data during run-time without the need for additional terrain optimization software or intermediate formats. BAE Systems will have full access to GenesisRTX for existing devices at its Warton site and will be able to integrate this onto new devices in the future.
“Diamond Visionics appreciates the trust that BAE Systems has in our ability to deliver the best Image Generator in the world and adapt to the ever changing technologies and economic conditions,” David Gdovin, President and Founding Partner of Diamond Visionics said. “We look forward to sharing future success with BAE Systems and the opportunities to closely support them for years to come.”
Andy Stannard, Senior Simulation Engineer at BAE Systems said: “Simulation is an ever increasing vital resource, both for our engineers developing and testing the latest technologies, and in the training domain to address the needs of our customers. Genesis will provide us with a step increase in our simulation capability and we welcome the opportunity to work with Diamond Visionics to deliver the very best in 3D visualisation.”
