Vestal, NY – October 13, 2017 – Diamond Visionics is announcing today the completion of a successful Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) on the U. S Marine Corps KC-130T Image Generator (IG) upgrade for JF Taylor, Inc using GenesisIG.
The GenesisIG scene is generated during runtime directly from NAVAIR Portable Source Initiative (NPSI) data sets. Using NPSI satisfies the desire for the government to reuse visual data that has been previously developed.
The IG is now being prepared to be shipped to JF Taylor, Inc. for integration and testing with the rest of the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Divisions (NAWCTSD) U. S Marine Corps KC-130T flight simulator. The KC-130T flight simulator is a multi-role, multi-mission transport aircraft that provides in-flight refueling as well as rapid ground refueling and transportation of personnel and cargo. Greg Amend, VP Engineering, said “We are extremely pleased with the success of the program and our on time delivery of the IG which utilizes NPSI data and meets all program requirements.”
Diamond Visionics, LLC is a privately held, small business based in Vestal, NY that produces cutting edge out-the-window and sensor image generation scenes directly from source data during runtime. (GenesisRTX : GenesisIG, GenesisRDR, GenesisSN, and GenesisSDK).
